The London Vocal Project

#hoppiandthehopefuls next gig in #ipswic

The London Vocal Project is one of the UK's leading contemporary vocal ensembles. Led by jazz composer and educator Pete Churchill, LVP is a vibrant community of performers.

Formed in 2008 from graduates of London conservatoires, the 24-strong choir comprises singers, instrumentalists, composers and music educators.

Our repertoire spans a huge breadth of genres, from jazz and popular music to gospel and groove.

In addition to performing our own arrangements and compositions at London's most famous venues, we have collaborated with some of the world's leading writers and performers, including Sir John Dankworth, Kenny Wheeler and Bobby McFerrin.

Passionate about music education, we have worked with various schools music services, leading workshops in composition and performance, culminating in major productions involving over 1,000 young musicians.
